Men’s tennis drops fourth straight to end season

The Saint Anselm men’s tennis team dropped their last four contests to end their spring season. The squad finished the 2016-17 season with a 4-14 record. On April 8 they suffered a 6-3 loss to Stonehill on the road. Junior Brian Kavanagh and sophomore Brian Madden tallied a doubles victory for the Hawks, while juniors Kyle Harris and Benji Page each notched singles victories. The squad concluded the season with an 8-1 loss at home to Merrimack. Kyle Harris had the lone victory for Saint Anselm as he won his fifth straight singles game.

Women’s lacrosse hosts annual Teal the Field event

The Saint Anselm women’s lacrosse team will host their annual Teal the Field game on Saturday April 22. The game will take place at Grappone Stadium at 12 noon. Teal the Field is a yearly tradition to spread awareness for ovarian cancer. T-shirts will be sold at Davison Dining Hall all week for $15. All proceeds will go to Ovations for the Cure, a group supports ovarian cancer research, awareness, and patient programs.
