Dan Higgens was awarded the coveted title of Mr. Saint A’s in this year’s annual Mr. Saint A’s tournament. Competing this year were Jon Wells, Andrew Lambert, Matt Gonella, Shane Matthews, Mike Valenti, Dan Higgins, Chris Grenier and Matt Pendergast.
The gentlemen competed in a variety of events. The evening began with a group-wide choreographed dance. The dance-off was followed up by a swimsuit competition, in which each contestant boasted highly creative bathing attire.
Following the swimsuit competition, the contestants showcased their abilities in the talent competition and demonstrated their wit in the question and answer assessment.
In keeping with Saint Anselm tradition, each contestant’s performance was delightfully ironic and side-splittingly comical.
Shane Matthews and John Wells were also acknowledged as runner-up competitors.
