Upcoming midterm election is important for Republicans

In the past week, we have seen a bit of a bump in GOP energy in the midterms following the wild Kavanaugh confirmation. Now the question is how this might affect the midterms.

This past week has reminded voters of one of the main reasons why they voted for Trump in the past election.

They voted for Trump for Originalist judges, for tax cuts, and for tougher immigration policies.

Republicans have to remind voters why they voted for them and what might happen if Democrats take control of Congress. If Democrats are elected, expect Kavanaugh impeachment investigations, expect Elizabeth Warren to fight for taxes to be raised through the roof, and for more radical Democrats to fight for impeaching Trump himself.

Imagine the chaos that Democrats would create if they had power. For voters out there, stopping this madness is possible.

There is no doubt that Republicans are more energized about this midterm now than they were a month ago, leading to increases in fundraising and polling.

Now there are more reasons to attack vulnerable senators such Joe Connelly, Heidi Heitkamp and Bill Nelson, for choosing to vote in lockstep with Schumer rather than their constituents. It gives them more reasons as to why they need to hold Senate seats in Arizona and Tennessee.

In terms of future judicial nominees, a larger majority in the Senate would allow for the President to nominate conservative favorite Judge Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court.

This would no doubt be borked by the Democrats, who will mock her for her Catholic faith like they did when she was nominated to the Court of Appeals. It would also make confirming non-activist judges easier as well, as conservatives fight for a balance of power in the lower courts.

But also, they must not forget about winning the House back as well. They must keep the gavel away from Nancy Pelosi, who represents nothing more than the San Francisco values that conservatives cringe at.

These values include sanctuary cities, on-demand abortion and taking away our Second Amendment rights that would be detrimental to the safety and well-being of all Americans.

They must exercise their resources to elect solid candidates who will represent the values their constituents want them to act on.

Right now, Republicans bring a diverse group of candidates who go past the white male stereotype, such as Young Kim in California and Eddie Edwards in New Hampshire, while representing the values conservatives support.

The House is where all tax bills start out and a Democrat congress would seek to reverse the “crumbs” that Trump signed into law earlier this year.

Not to mention, Rep. Al Green of Texas will seek to impeach Trump under a Democratic House! Barf!

Also, Adam Schiff would control the Intel Committee that would seek to cover up DOJ and FBI mishandlings in the phony Russia collusion case. Barf!

Also, Ted Lieu of California would do anything to destroy Justice Kavanaugh by reopening an investigation on him, even though it is clear there is no evidence that he sexually assaulted the women beyond a reasonable doubt. Barf!

And more Alexandria Ocasio-Cortezesque candidates would seek to implement a socialist agenda that could bankrupt our nation! Barf!

In summary, a Democratic Congress would be a nightmare for voters who voted for change and lead to a more chaotic Congress that would be open for crazed members to do anything to appease their base.

For GOP voters, the choice is clear and this election is too important to stay home.
