CAB: what and who they are

Chances are you’ve come across Saint Anselm CAB somewhere along the way in your career here on the hilltop, but don’t know about everything they do, and that anyone can join!

CAB stands for Campus Activities Board, which is the event planning board of Student Government. They put on many events throughout the year including Welcome Back Week, Caboo, Christmas with CAB and of course Party Your Class Off (better known as Spring Weekend/Concert).

CAB meets on Wednesday nights in Cushing, is totally open for anyone to join and encourages comments and suggestions.

“A great way to get involved”, says CAB President Brooke Judd, “CAB provides us with an opportunity to bring fun events to all of our peers on campus. It gives us a chance to meet more students than we could have ever imagined and allows us to make connections that will be beneficial in all of our experiences at the SAC.”

Christmas with CAB kicks off Monday, December 8 at 8pm with fan favorite CABingo in Dana; be sure to get there early because the first 100 people dressed in their Christmas PJ’s will receive a special prize and a chance to win a raffle!

Tuesday the 9th is Christmas Karaoke in the Coffee Shop (there will be a free hot chocolate bar!), and don’t miss Christmas with CAB on Wednesday in Cushing from 12-4 for some sweet activities, free popcorn and more.

Be sure to look out for Winter Welcome Back Week after break, and stay tuned for information on the Spring Concert, Kanye West might be there.
